Just as the rest of Belgium, Antwerp is famous for Chocolate and for an extended beer selection. Sampling all Belgian beers is easier said than done - there are over 700 different kinds!

Antwerp is the world Diamond Center. There is a pretty good chance that any diamond you own or encounter has been in Antwerp at least on one occasion. More than 12,000 expert cutters and polishers are at work in the Diamond Quarter, at 380 workshops, serving 1,500 firms and 3,500 brokers and merchants.

This is also the home town of the famous painter, Rubens. You can visit the house he lived in and designed or admire his artwork that is scattered around in the cities churches, cathedrals and the Fine Arts Museum.

Yummy Food
Belgium is a food mecca and has the highest density of Michelin Star restaurants in Europe. You can visit several 3 star restaurants which offer extraordinary cooking by the most celebrated chefs of the world combined with the possibility to order the most famous wines. Most are familiar with Belgian Waffles (crispy outside /soft and moist inside). Belgians eat waffles as a casual snack food -- something you buy from a bakery or street stand.
